Hello from Michigan

I don't think I've ever posted in this thread so here goes:

Hi. I'm a 29y/o student from Michigan. I've used this site since the early 2000s under different names and may have talked to some of you on efnet in the late 90s. Not really involved with Advanced Drug Discussion research but have followed similar sites (which I won't mention but I'm sure you can guess) for about as long.

Mainly interested in neuropharmacology. Don't have much in the way of fancy book learnin' but know enough to not make spurious claims without providing at least some scientific basis. I usually prefer to remain coy and perhaps of questionable authenticity, though, than say something that would get myself or anyone else into any kind of trouble.

Other than that I'm mostly just a lurker

Hey who needs fancy book learnin' when you have great instincts, a lust for knowledge, and an open mind That is how I look at it at least.

I'm pretty sure after you start talking with fellow members you will want to be more of a poster than a lurker. Nothing like talking with like minded people all across the world with the same interests as you.

I absolutely agree.. I'd love to change the world but I prefer sharing information to help people figure the world out for themselves than act like everyone should trust me because I've taken an organic chemistry class.
