Not much of a place out here in rural Australia for so-called psychonautical, psychedelic-enthusiastic people like me. Very small towns, so I thought I'd try and fit in here! Lots to learn from places like this; I also post on The Shroomery, and get a lot out of it.
Haven't tripped in a long time, but the season is a month away for us. I am however on medication that's probably going to make tripping difficult; it'll be probably have to be a huge dose. 'Course it's probably not even a good idea pharmacologically, and I might see how the body takes a small dose and make my decision from there about future tripping; might just store 'em for down the track.
My first real experience with mushrooms was a very low dose of maybe 1.5 dried gs (not measured, eaten fresh), but given my mushroom virginity, it was a profound experience. I had been looking for them for months, and finally found them in a nearby-to-home forest. I ended up outside in the dark, laying down looking at the blurry stars, blurry cause of the mushrooms and blurry cause I lost my glasses in the garden somehow earlier, and just thinking, hahaha, what IS this place?! The magic is really there, it's not just a name. A later experience involved reality being (and I stole this name) a "living cartoon", a name I later thought described it perfectly. It was like my mind was a field that was everything and everything was a fabric, a fabric called mind. It must have been a higher dose.
Astonishing experiences. This stuff isn't for the faint hearted.
Anyway, I'll be around.
