Layered Onion
Bluelighter
I have been using this site as a resource since around 2013. At that time I was just dipping my toes back in the recreational chemical waters after a cool 18 years of pretty "straight" living. Before that stretch of cleanliness, I had put together some rather miserable years as a young and irresponsible druggie. I had been a pot head since my early teens, sought out psychedelics, tried some benzos, I eventually found myself a homeless crack head.
Then came the 18 years of sobermindedness. Life gradually lost it's luster. I wasn't experiencing life so much as repeating survival routines. So one night in downtown Pittsburgh, in the Omni hotel, at the expense of the company that sent me, I smoked a one hitter of some hybrid Sativa. I hadn't smoked weed since 1995, and had rarely seen anything but swag in those days. I couldn't breath. My heart was racing. Every muscle was agitated and uncomfortable. I wanted to do it again. Soon after I would come across bluelight. My chemical experiences became diverse, intense, and if I may proclaim, always funny (with some distance).
After spending more time reading posts of interest, I have come to realize that my age and experience have beaten me up enough to have one or two bits of knowledge that may be of value to someone out there. I am always fascinated and amazed by the ways that others do their thing. Admittedly, there are rituals of drug use that I go thru just for the love of the technique. I am always on the lookout for new terminology, new methods and techniques, and the science that lies behind, or maybe at the core, of getting high.
