hey. i just registered and wanted to get to know some people. my name is natasha. i'm 27 and moved to dallas texas from new york late last year. my life up to this point has just been going to work and then back home. i'm trying to find people outside of my job in the area, or not. just looking for cool people

I'm sure there are other people in your area on Bluelight, you might want to check out North & South American Social & Drug Discussion. yea ny to texas was a huge adjustment. still working that out. i plan on going back at some point. i'm not built for texas.

i don't know dallas too well so i'm not sure exactly where lewisville or denton is. i live in the lower greenville area. if you know where the buffalo exchange is there i'm a few blocks away
 
your downtown, im out in suburbia

give it a little time, texas can grow on you, but if your expectign something like nyc then yea that'll never happen but hope you enjoy yourself
 
i lived in queens when i was a kid w.my mom but when i came back from college and got a place of my own i moved to the upper west side

yea it didnt take me long to realize that no other city is going to be like ny. the 1st time i drove past downtown my first thought was 'wheres the rest of it?' dallas has its upsides that i appreciate. it is sooooooo much easier to survive financially here. i had to work a million and one jobs just to get by in ny. i actually have time off here, which is cool, altho there isnt as much to do w.this new free time i have. i just have to find friends here that have the same interests as me. right now i really only know the girls i work w.so thats limiting. have you always lived in texas? i like that its more laid back here too. i was getting really high strung being in the city. plus my high school was right by the world trade center and after that it just wasnt the same for me anymore
 
^^ i moved here when i was 11 so no i havent lived here my entire life but at times it feels that way

you say you are tryin to find friends with the same interests, what are your interests?
 
my biggest thing is live music. i love all kinds of music but i was really big into hardcore/metal when i was in hs. i've seen a few bands since i've been here. i saw sleigh bells at the house of blues and i went to unsilent night at fair park. i also love electronic music. i don't really enjoy drinking so if i go out to a club its just to dance. i'm usually the appointed designated driver. i also love tattoos and piercings and have been looking for a good shop for me to continue what i've got so far. i love all things slightly odd and out of the ordinary. that show oddities has made me secretly want to be a taxidermist. i love fashion and shopping. i just learned how to knit. i dunno, i like a lot of really random things, and i'm always open to learning about something new. i just got out of a short relationship w.a guy i met last year and i'm a little broken up about it. i would love to have someone to just watch a movie with. i really only know the girls i work w.and met a few of the friends of the guy i was just w.but i would really like to stay away from them

i jus wanted to know if you ever found out what the red pill was it sounds very interesting
