I just recently signed up for this wonderful site, although I have been a long time reader.

My DOC is hydrocodone. I've been on it since 2009 for a torn ACL. I don't have insurance to get the surgery so I have no choice but to live off of pain killers. I got addicted fairly quick. Its amazing how a little pill can make you feel so damn good. My tolerance has built up a lot. Two years ago 10mg would put me on cloud nine. Now I need at least 120-150mg to feel that wonderful euphoric feeling. I've tried stopping a few times and I failed each time. My PM is aware of my addiction and decided to wean me down to 20mg a day and 300mg of tapendatol. Yea...let's just say that I go through my pills in about 1 week instead of a month. And now I have an even bigger problem...I was in a car accident a few weeks ago that totally fucked my back. I have 4 bulging discs and sciatica. Eh im only 26 and feel like im 60 with all these injuries!!

Im also addicted to this site lol...everyone is so informative and its interesting to read what other people have to say. Anyone else from the Chicago area??

Hey there blueeyes. Sorry to hear you've been in so much pain, I can imagine how frustrating it must be for you. If you haven't already, check out the Pain Management Mega Thread over in Other Drugs.

Oh yea this site is definitely addicting. Its the first thing I go to when I wake up haha. Can you tell I have no life?? Lol

Hello and welcome to this great site. My doc is the green, but that doesn't mean I don't do others. I'm in wisconsin, but actually pretty close 2 u.. I'm on the stateline.
