Hi, I'm 18 years old, and I've been using bluelight for a length of time now, quietly strolling through all sorts of interesting topics from time to time. If it wasn't for Bluelight and Erowid, I would have ended up in hospital (If I overdo stimulants- or drugs with stimulant effects, i suffer from a condition in which I have a lower threshold of how much of a drug it takes before vasoconstriction builds up).simply due to the fact I initially underestimated aMT (I'd ordered some aMT Freebase off the internet a while ago, put it in my draw and left it for a month or so, thinking nothing of it, as it was for a certain event. I stupidly assumed dosage would be between 200-400mg. Luckily, a friend, who is also a regular guest here, pointed out to me that she'd read a thread about aMT before, and had done a bit of basic research into it. She pointed me to a harm reduction website (bluelight), which had extremely important information about aMTs effects, Other peoples experiences, ROA, Difference between Freebase and Hcl. She then pointed me to a page on erowid which was the main vault for aMT. After discovering that (freebase) aMT has effects from as little as >10mg, I was extremely shocked with how bad it could of turned out had i taken 400mg (also bearing in mind the only other psychedelic i've thoroughly taken are Magic Mushrooms).
Now, whenever I come across a new substance, I read a lot about it, and make sure i understand the full potential range of effects. When taking a new drug/drug from new source, I always test the substance with a minute amount, and build dosage incrementally. Which I feel is a skill for life. (Or as long as I actively take drugs (unoften take drugs apart from weed, cus weed is all i can 'do' frequently without it affecting my mood and confidence.
I'd just like to thank everyone who contributes to this website, and say that this website is an extremely powerful harm reduction tool.
