Hi everyone!

I was looking to broaden my horizons so I figured I should join your boards too, and not restric myself.

I have a large number of posts on a mushroom discussion forum and I'm a plant collector with plants from all around the world.

I am from Brazil and I look to make friends here and exchange knowledge.

If anybody needs any plant IDs I sure can help with that.

If you mean Psychotropic plant ID's then that's a bit of a gray area. I'm pretty certain they aren't allowed, but by all means read up of the specific forums before you post. I'd be interested to see photographs of your plants, I love botany and gardening

^me too. I'm currently on a cycad kick even though slow growing plants can be boring. Got any tips on getting multiple foliage growth?

^ Yep, tip is that Cycads will always grow quicker in the ground. Start them off in pots but put them in the ground and fertilize them a few times a year and they will trunk up much quicker.

The winters here aren't too harsh and not much accumulating precipitation. Will they fare well even if gets super cold?

Depends what species they are, some are cold tolerant. You could have problems with the more tropical ones, but there are things you can do to prevent frost damage though.
