I am a long time cannabis meduser for chronic pain caused by almost a lifetime of Benzodiazepines by prescription. I was prescribed them when I was 13 and I am now 65. They have damaged my feet and I am unable to walk much. I have just tapered off them and am trying to keep myself well-medicated and healthy so I don't have to be hospitalized, as I was the last time a doctor tapered me too fast. The drugs damaged my inner ear by 50% and I've barely been able to leave my house since. I've also gone off all narcotics I was given for pain. I intend to stay off them. I am interested in psychedelics and the ways they are used to enhance the lives of users. I have questions about MDMA and welcome the opportunity to learn about other substances that may give me a better quality of life.

lol. but anyway welcome! and i agree - the fun of painkillers lies in their ability to dull pain, and eventually yuo realize that that is all they ever were - dull.
