Hello all my name is mark or skunk-mad is my writing name. I've been addicted to opiates for over 20 years since I was 14 I'm now 37. I've been illegal opiate free for close on 8 years with a methadone reduction program. I'm now down to 12ml/day.
The reason I've joined up is important getting that messed about by the community drug treatment service and now either
A- Want to reduce the methadone asap to nothing
B- Swap out the 12ml/day to another medication that my dr can prescribe. For example morphine or df118 aka dihydrocodeine
I do suffer with agoraphobia also which is a fear of going out and a fear of people. So going to these services more often now for some reason is
1- Taking to much money from me and I'm paying more for the scripts than the meth is worth
2- Making me mix with people ive worked hard to stay away from.
So that's a little about me and why I'm here
