Hi everyone! I'm S, a 30yr old Fem in the US. I've been taking prescription opiates for nearly 7 years (off and on but mostly on, unless I run out before refill). I've taken nearly every pain pill out there and currently take daily 100mg Nucynta ER times 4/day (or more depending on pain, mood and how I want to feel. I also am on 50mcg Fentynl patches times every 48hours (or see my last note). I also take Xanax for spasms or to relax, and I also get 120 20MG adderol each month to take as needed for sleepiness (huh imagine that!)
So the story here is that I have an autoimmune disorder - lupus which causes fibromyalgia symptoms. I also have a back injury.
So yes, I need it all for pain or side effects of pain killers BUT I must admit the awesome thing with opiates is the Euphoria u get when u take more than the amount your body is immune to.
I actually find myself "cleansing" every couple of months so I can get that oh so great feeling without having to risk running out of meds for too long (wd's suck!) I have also learned to communicate with my pain management doc when my body needs something "new". Every pill has its own chemical make up, so I can often get that good feeling just by requesting a change up.
Anywho I was probably only supposed to say "howdie" and not write a book but hey, I'm not shy! I look forward to reading and learning more about everyone's experiences as well as join in on discussions about the world we live in and why big brother would do itself some good by backing off of non violent crimes. Stupid I have to sign my rights away to fill a script each month (and pay out of my a** to go to my doc each month just to write me the required "new" script each time I have to refill). But that's for another day.
Cheers! Love, live and laugh!
