Welcome to Bluelight!

I am on buprenorphine as well and have been on it for a while. It's a great drug for both pain relief, and addiction recovery. I use it mostly for pain relief now.

I am glad to hear your recovery is starting off on a solid start - have you made more steps to get your life back together? If you are not sure, there is a lot of information here to help you decide what should be done in order to ensure a happy, full life for yourself.

Enjoy the forums and I hope to see you around! :) Just make sure to read each sub-forum's specific rules, as well as the BLUA, before diving in. %)

Glad to see you made an account :)

You'll find that a lot of us have more in common with each than you think

Welcome :D

Hi just regged myself and also on subutex and have been for 9 months now after I stupidly chose to stop my methadone script at 35ml as I thought it seemed a good idea at the time but ended up a nightmare. Ended up having to go on a waiting list for 3 months and ended up on buprenorphine and must say it suits me a lot better than methadone and Ive gone from 8mg to 3.2 and not really noticed any w/d so its all good up to now. Just hope I dont hit a brick wall with it at 2mg like some say you do?! I take that kid of thing with a pinch of salt though as I think a lot of it is psychological and if your expecting to have a hard time you probably will! Good luck to anybody else trying to get off the opiates :)

Best of luck PKU!

Stay on the right track, take your time, and it can be done.

Check out the Suboxone Mega Thread in Other Drugs. You will definitely want to share your experience with Subutex and ask any questions you may have about buprenorphine in that thread. :)

Finally, welcome to Bluelight and I hope you enjoy our community!
