Never been into drugs or drug culture. I'm finding that the more prescription meds I'm being issued the more I'm becoming curious about side effects, long term effects, potential safer alternatives.

I am becoming more interested in the potential benefits and recreational side of things. I've been sensible, safe, never got a kick out of risk taking or used or done anything illegal.

I still want to stay safe and on the right side of the law, I just think its time to relax and be a bit more self indulgent ?

Hey welcome to Bluelight, glad to have you on board and good on you for wanting to learn!

Do you mind if I ask what prescriptions you are taking? There's lots of great info on most commonly prescribed medication

Ritalin 60mg daily
Dihydrocodeine can't remember what dosage!

Had other painkillers prescribed over the years but couldn't tolerate the side effects.

I'd rather not have to alter my brain chemistry to get through the day, but sometimes you just need to get stuff done.
I wasn't comfortable taking ritalin at first but after 18 months I'm used to it and see the benefits.
I can also see how some people can misuse it!

Of course and if you can't find a thread about something you are looking for feel free to ask for help or even make your own post!

Greetings Mr Adder!

You have a very mature outlook on drugs, and hope you continue to use responsibly. Hopefully i'll see you around the forum :)

Enjoy your stay!

Had a look through some of the threads. Quite an eye opener!

The one on adderall and masturbation cheered me up! I wondered if methylphenidate could have the same effect but I've since learned that while they both treat adhd symptoms they're completely different meds.
Would you also need to be prescribed anti-inflammatory painkillers to treat repetitive strain injuries in your forearms? ???
