I have read several of your forums & discussions in the past but never joined before. I am a pain management patient & take what has been told to me as insane amounts of narcotics/opiates & am looking for some support as well as information from time to time in this battle I have between addiction & pain. I was a paramedic 20+ years & have a decent amount of medical knowledge & might even be able to help if needed also. Thank you very much for adding me!

I'm sorry you are struggling with pain management, i Can not claim to understand or know how it feels to be in constant physical pain but I have nursed people who have been and seen the battle they face. it's one of those tough ones isn't it, because people can't see the pain or even the internal power and pain of an addiction, so they back off because they cant see past thier own judgmental views.
Some people are different however, and from what I have seen so far it seems this website is full if people who don't judge, form stereotypes or dismiss people who are from all walks of life and from all over the world!
I feel I gave joined something special.

Thank you captain heroin I am currently on 4mg or dilaudid 3 times a day, 75mcg fentanyl patch every other day, Lidoderm patches 5% 2 per night for my back, 4 mg lorazepam a day, 10mg ambien per night, and aprox 100mg benadryl a day oh and sorry just got prescribed a steroid nasal spray to apply to my skin prior to the fentanyl patches to help with skin allergy to adhesives called Flonase I believe
