I found this site a few years ago after several surgeries and I found it to be one the most informative forums on the web regarding medication and safety.
I really do apprreciate any help
Thank you.

Hey there jess, welcome. Glad to finally have you as a member :). It's always good to learn about the medications you are taking.

Welcome aboard! This is an informative site.

Hope ya stick around. Looking forward to reading your posts :)

Thank you all for the warm welcomes!
I just moved in with a family member in the U.S. where the Papaver somniferum grow everywhere. I am a chronic pain suffferer and had to drop out of school due to an injury. I started PM 25 yrs ago for chronic pain and have had three surgeries and been on about every legal opiate since.(Dome,Dialuda,Oxy,benzos, norco, and on and on)I am on nothing now and hurting! I am trying to get positive ID on these plants in my yard to use for medicine . Scoring green pods or having pounds of dried ones lying around are not an option for me. A friend of mine who broke his back recently blended a few green pods with some white grapefruit juice and said it cured everything that ailed him for about 2 days. I would like to get a positive ID on these and find out if their are ways to utilize the green pods/flowers. Thanks for the help!

Staying healthy (or at least functional) playing the guitar and going to school. Thank you!

I know, I hope to have the opportunity to share some experiences as well as gain some knowledge. Most doctors here(where i live) only maintain health. If I am unable to meditate it away or exercise it away, they want to send me to a mental health doc in my chronic state.Says their has to be some underlying depression. I only become enraged at idiot un humanitarian docs who want to turn everybody into another "Paxil Success story". AARG

Right now I have an interest in replying to a post. I guess their is a delay for screening?

Welcome to Bluelight Jessm.
You will find plenty of good info on here and loads of decent folk from all ages and walks of life.
Have a look around all the different forums and I'm sure you will find something interesting to read.

Hey Jessm, we can't really help you identify substances, or plants, but there are lots of resources here on how to utilize them safely once you have identified p. somniforum.

Other Drugs and Basic Drug Discussion contain most of our info on Poppy Seed and Poppy Pod Tea. It is worth a read.

Yes. I finally went to a gardening site and found all the info I need to get started.
Thanks
