(I type and talk alot due to me being a Brooklyn kid here nyc).I joined the site a few months ago about pain management. It's a great thread as its a sad one as well.
I am am a binge drinker(Irish carbombs anyone). I've worked around drugs and booze my adult life. While as a child at a liquor helping out and getting shity pay. Used to sneak out wine so I could so the shit with my buddy jimmyhim. Not a typical thing to do at 14-17. But he helped me in math. Made me pass with flying colors . As my mom thought what the fuck.
My buddy jimmy would just talk for hours. he fought in vietnam, and told me about his life. Him fine me smashed. He would take me too my door steps and he would. Oh I also got him to celebrate all the holidays with us. My grand father always say. You always need 4 good suits, sparkling shined shoes and a flask. See my entire family were either; drinkers or druggies. Even my buddy jimmy was into heroin when he came back from war; as my uncle and grandpa.
And yes my mother dank, smoked and 'only chased the dragon once).i was born addicted to whatever she can get her hands on. My aunt paid her 700 and grandma 450. To leave me alone and it's been 43 years since.
to cut this short. Drank a ton. Did steroids, speed, coke. Whatever ya gave me to get high I did. Ex left. I love this site because many people have/haved same issues. I played for football my entire life and blew it. Didn't just party. I'm talking snorting lines because I play football! For this university. I bring the fans out yada yada.
Been addicted to alcohol and coke, speed uppers. Then went onto lsd, shrooms you get it.
I'm glad this site is here. Helps out a ton. If you gotten this far you've must have been bored. But again I'm glad this sites exist.
ps. Jimmy got cleaned up and got helping addicts in a detox center. He's a nurse that can write scripts, weird I tell ya.
