Hey guys, I'm a 20 year old chemistry student from the Netherlands. Been lurking here for quite some time, thought it was about time to sign up. I am particulary interested in psychedelics, although I also enjoy other stuff. I have both grown cannabis and shrooms(for own use only) which I really enjoyed doing, because you practically create mind altering substances out of scrap! Being a Chemist I am also really interested in the science behind drugs. I've never had any real problems with drugs, except maybe a tendency to smoke weed a little bit too often ;) Drugs helped me becoming more outgoing and shaped me the person I am now. I'd like to share that knowledge and learn a lot more!

Favourite drug: close call between MDMA and shrooms, but shrooms still win I think

After having enough mushroom and LSD experiences, I much prefer LSD.

Mushrooms tend to have a sharper dose/effects curve, however - I find that mushrooms at a higher dosage are more likely to produce confusion, dissociation for hours, etc. during the peak. I much prefer LSD because even at a high dosage, it is easy to talk, you don't feel confused, and LSD tends to only produce euphoric emotions. Mushrooms can produce all sorts of emotions.

Because of this, I find mushrooms to be a more challenging experience, and the higher dosage you take with mushrooms, the more challenging the trip. The more LSD you take, the more intense it becomes, but I have personally never taken so much LSD that I was unable to talk, nor did I ever lose sight of who I was as a person. I totally forgot who I was on at least 2 to 3 mushroom experiences, and forgot how to talk in at least 2 of those experiences.

I find that a high dosage of mushrooms lasts a similar duration as LSD, but a greater portion of the total duration is the come up and the come down, with a 4-ish hour long peak. LSD has a much longer peak. %)

It is still worth it to try a high dosage of both, but I would always choose LSD. What's better is it's almost always more affordable than a dosage of mushrooms. %) =D
