Heyas all....my name is JaFiSh......been called that for 30+ years now from playing billiards...both recreationally and Semi-Pro. I played on the APA circuit for 2 1/2 yrs. earlier in my life and had 3 sponsors ready to take me pro but my first wife couldn't stay out of oyther mens beds while i was on the road so my mental edge suffered. Oh well. Now, I have been married to my soulmate for 11 years this year. I have played all the mushy stuff to get to this....haha. My wife has SLE(Systeic Lupus Eurythromytosis) and has had for 20 years. There is no cure and it is chronic and terminal. She is entering the late stages of it now but thank God and meds her body is still fightin.....and lookin smokin' too I might add. I may be 42 but i am still able to tell when a chick has the "LOOK" about her and my wife does......(no points here either..lol) Anyway, I got laid off from my technician job in June of 2009 after 14 years with my company, which is the way it is now. I am currently in clinicals for Respiratory Therapy in college and have 1 more year to graduation(WOOT!!)

I registered here for this reason.....my wife is under Pain Management and we drive 3 hours 1 way to her doctor. I had to keep COBRA for 15 months after layoff because of her needs. In the 10 years we have been with the same doctor, now that we have lost our COBRA and are without INS. temporarily, the true nature of the beast has reared it's head........they are in it for the MONEY!! I am currently looking for anothe pain clinic and doctor for her, and with my connections now that i am in the hospital daily for clinical training I have been referred to several. This is a situation ythat happened just 4 days ago that has my wife in withdrawls now.

She has been on 60mg Kadian daily as well as 800MCG fentanyl troche 3x a day. When she went the other day for her appt., they said that 3 INS. claims had been sent back from WHEN WE HAD COVERAGE and the refused to see her.....thus she is out of meds. I have had to go out of the norm and get meds for her to take to ease the withdrawls, but with the amounts she has been on paired with the small town genre that we are locked into, there isnt an abundance of choices until she can get back there on Thursday.

I have said all that to get to this i guess.... I have come here several times to read up on different things, and by far this is the BEST communicated as well as MODERATED website i have found.... KUDOS!! And also thanks to everyone here because without your advice, in-depth drug research, explanations, and info sharing, I would not have a knowledge base to refer to in times like this when my wife's well-being is in my hands because I AM NOT GOING TO LET HER SUFFER BECAUSE OF ANYTHING.......REGARDLESS OF WHAT I HAVE TO DO.

Again... I am FISH........I look forward to meeting many of you and talking =D

Not really askin' a question I don't guess..... Just calling on the wealth of knowledge that all of you possess here to help me get her thru the next 3 days without severe WD's. I know she can take Loritabs, Percocet, etc. to keep something in her system. Just wonderin and asking what advice i might could get on what i could get for her to take care of her until Thurs. She has already had her drug test for her appt. so i am not concerned with that, just with getting her out of WD before she hits the full-blown start of DeTox when her system is washed out

Nice to meet you as well.

To prevent the withdrawal just up the intake of any and all opiates you can get your hands on. If you've already got hydrocodone and oxycodone you'll definitely be all set. Else you can get OTC opioid drugs which could help. Loperamide, possibly codeine depending on your state, DXM, and I suppose the herb kratom are what first come to mind.

Thanks a TON amapola!! I have already gotten some Hydro's(7.5), but I haven't heard of Loperamide. I am sure she will blow thru these hydro's in no time with her ceiling from the Kadian and Fentanyl Troches tho' so I will have to keep on top of it.
 
I will check into all those, especially the Kratom. And thx for the link to the extraction. I am going to try it on a few of the hydro's to remove the aceto from them.
