Hey, not really sure what to say other than I've lurked this forum for a long time and I saw a post suggesting someone start a recovery diary here and that it could help. I thought that would be a good idea so I registered and plan to start one.
I also want to contribute to the community. As my username suggests I am a poly substance abuser, but also a huge advocate for safe consumption. I research everything I do with a passion. Honestly, I love drugs, and the way drugs interact with people and the brain greatly interests me. I have found myself having more knowledge about drugs than anyone I personally know, even nurses and pharmacists that I personally know. I don't know it all and I'm open to learning anything I can, but today marks a new day. A day that I attempt to become more sober.
I appreciate this community. I have learned so much from it, but I have just never registered and I regret that, but here I am now. Idk if I'll ever achieve full sobriety, but I think that this community could be a very helpful tool in doing so. I apologize for registering in a time of needing help vs a time of giving information.
I assume to start a recovery diary I will go to the recovery section, make a post, and just keep updating that same thread? If not please direct me in the right direction.
Thanks again!
