I've been a lurker for years - like almost 20, I would say. I've always respected bluelight and what it stands for, and trust it for any research I do on drugs.

As for me, I'm 52, I've been addicted to oxy and benzos and have cut loose and survived the withdrawals of both...have abused alcohol, and have been through the carousel of SSRI meds for my "persistent depressive disorder and GAD". I also use cannabis too... quite new to me because I didn't really smoke very much it in my teens and twenties and whenever I did, the results were disappointing and usually anxiety related.

Anyway, keep up the good work bluelighters. Glad to be here.....

When I got older I was able to grow a beard, in early days I had a moustache and sideburns. That was the going style in the 70s. I have a decent beard nowadays
