I'm new to this site/forums. I joined because I am a pain Mgmt. patient and am on a lot of heavy duty meds some of which I wonder why they're not working as well/properly. I saw a thread with some good info, prompting me to join. I have an Intrathecal pump with 6 mg/daily of IT Fentanyl and my BT med is Actiq (OTFC) which doesn't work as well as it did once. I went from that to Fentora as a BT med and against doctors advice I went off the Fentora; I was feeling better and went to dilaudid which was a disaster I had to have 3 more surgeries again last year bringing total surgeries to 13! I'm a 33 year veteran of Army Special Forces and was WIA 3 times, with the last time rupturing 2 discs amongst other back injuries.
