I have even heard of people being told they have HIV - only to find out that it was a false positive and they never had it to begin with.

They just took a biopsy fron a mole on my brothers nose, sent it to the lab, said it was cancer, removed it, sent that to the lab and it was benign... wtf? He's not happy about it...
