Hello all - new Bluelighter with a measurement question for nBOME.

I've recently acquired 20mg of 25C-NBOMe recently, and want to administer it to blotters in 250ul increments.

It's early, and I'm rushed, but I'm fairly sure if I dissolve the 25C into solution (either warm water due to it being in HCl form, or some sort of alcohol), in a 1:1 ratio of mg/grams, would I then be able to use a fixed-volume 250ul micropipette to make things easier? Wouldn't, volumetrically speaking, 250ul of this solution equate to 250ug of 25C?

I don't want to mess with upconverting from grams to larger ml, and thus have to deal with more liquid, whether it be for blotters or for intra-nasal spray.

Thanks a ton for your help.

Do you mean a 1:1 ratio of mg/ml? If you have, for instance, a 1mg/ml solution, 250ul should be equivalent to 250ug. I'm not sure what mg/g is since mg and g are both mass units of measurement.

Yes, sorry. If I dissolve 20mg of 25C into 20ml of solvent (water, or whatever), it'd be a 1:1 ratio of mg/ml. Therefore if, from this solution, would 250ul be equivalent to 250ug of 25C. I think you just answered my question, I guess I was right. Thanks :)

It is simple math, but when dealing with such potent chemicals, the paranoia kicks in. I certainly took measure to double and triple check my painfully simplistic math for such solutions :P

Thanks for understanding, IamMe90. One can never be too safe when dealing with stuff like this. I respect the power of these chemicals and would never want a stupdi oversight cause me to be in the news, or my friend, ending up with an early scheduling of the compound.
