Hegel's God

After watching the video it seemed as though when Wallace discusses God as the self-determining factor in people/things 'will I find my own truth instead of what's being told to me' and so on. It seemed very close to a kind of Jungian conflict of the unconscious. Where you have this universal Monad archetype and it's a dialectic between the Big Other and the realizing Self. Don't know if I understood it but it was well worth the 24 minutes. Thanks
