Hey. I have a terrible heel pain. My BMI ratio is 27.8. I’m only 29 years old. My doctor advised me to stop wearing high heeled shoe and also to reduce my weight. I tried skipping and cycling to reduce my weight but it couldn’t help me to achieve my goal weight. I have excess flabs near my tummy and thigh region.and a friend of mine suggested a liposuction procedure in Toronto ( http://www.drkreidstein.com/our-procedures/body/body-contour-surgery/liposuction/ ). I have no clue about this procedure. How much fat can be removed by this procedure? Any previous experiences? Is there any other alternative to maintain a fit and healthy body? I tried dieting and workouts. It would be great if someone could share your ideas.

Liposuction is likely to help only temporarily, and it's not really meant to be used to decrease body weight significantly (it's rather for "reshaping" the body of a person with normal weight). Some other procedures, based on reducing the volume of the stomach surgically, are used when someone's BMI is dangerously high. Losing weight is often difficult because the obese person's brain has learned to produce a feeling of hunger more often than is appropriate. I was a bit obese myself some years ago, but after quitting regular alcohol use I returned to normal weight rather quickly. Sorry I can't give any advice about diets, maybe someone else here knows better.

We're not plastic surgeons so any questions about liposuction, you should schedule a consultation and ask your plastic surgeon. Go on Realself and read reviews for more information with experiences, results, and doctor reviews.

Do you have heel pain when you're wearing flats? If so, then yeah, it's probably the heels. You can also try and buying some heel inserts to just give you extra padding and cushion.
