heating dilaudid for plugging

I have to Ds that you have to cook to shoot. Can I still just crush it up and plug? Or do I have to heat that bad boy up still? First time plugging.

why do you need to cook these to shoot? i've never had dilaudid that wouldn't dissolve in water.

I can't tell you, we were getting the yellow ones that we were just shaking up, but he claimed these "generic" ones had to be heated. I have no experience IVing myself, I always have someone else do it for me, and I had one left so I wanted to plug.
