What's the fastest you've ever heard of, or recorded your own heart's pace at?
I've clocked up to almost 180 bpm, and that's noided out checking religiously every 10 minutes with a couple friends verifying...
Fill me in, I'm curious if anyone has ever taken the time to count...
Peace.

Oh yeah. I always take the time to count.
After about 300mg of IV methylphenidate I reached 180 also. They gave me a shot of something in the ER that instantly brought me down to 80 or so. I mean instantly. I went from 180 to 80 in about 4 seconds.
What chemical and route of admin brought you up to 180? That shit is scary. It seems like when I get to that point it only gets worse by checking because I start freaking out thinking I'm gonna die and shit and that just makes it worse.

My heart rate has reached 186 after IVing methamphetamine. I figured I'd get worried after it went over 200 :-) But that never happened.

>>im too scared to ever take my pulse when i feel it pounding....just wont help the trip.....
This is pretty sensible.

a heart rate between 40-70 is healthy depending on age and how fit you are.
(maybe this thread should be moved to medical q&a)

It's fine here, because this discussion leads to the question, what and how much of a substance you were on...
That was after about a quarter ounce of good ol' blow...
I've pushed the limits quite a few times...
And you are all correct in saying that as soon as you say 178, 179, 180...ONE EIGHTY?!
HOLY CHRIST!
Then your heart beat jumps up about ANOTHER 10 bpm and you just sit there and think, is tonight the night?
Muuuuhaha, then you fire up another one ten minutes later and do it all again~!
