you know that you should fear me
for what you see is what you get
i am as tempting as I am sick
my appetite for true love is wilting
the tear in my heart is seismic
brillantly beautiful death dove
my taste on your tongue is tart
your passion makes raw mystic music
and oh how many songs are unsung
listen to the cruel wisdom I impart
my love makes the nights so long
the burn victim anthem too solemn
face my pain alone at the dawn
loving him didn't feel that wrong
sharp spasm behind my breastbone
time has passed and still I reel
for the one whose life is twined
with mine and our forgotten past
lost myself in a seductive nightlife
poisonous beasts waiting to devour
passive shellshocked beauties captive
the perfect succulent last feast
throwing away the love who mocked
her bleeding heart plea for easement
erotic handsome demon has betrayed
everything they were together simply
to be a common modern day hangman

"brillantly beautiful death dove"

"passive shellshocked beauties captive"

Yay, or some other inane comment along those lines :)

I like this as it doesn't let punctuation get in the way of the tale, which isn't always succesful, but in this case is. The above quoted were the lines I liked the most because of the images that they stirred and because it was odd to see these placement of words together, I liked it.

Always a pleasure to read your works.
