I've noticed this happen before, but last night i did some really clean pills and after i peaked on my fifth/last one i noticed that no matter where i was or what room i was in, i could always hear people talking.

Can never make out what the voices say, but it always sounds like a muffled conversation is going on in the next room but there never is. It always trips me out and lots of times while im on e i think hearing the voices is normal (even though everybody else was asleep and i was the only one up)

Am i going schizo or is this a pretty common side effect?

Another thing that happened is as i walked into the basement i heard music and i went to the amp to shut it off but it was on mute. there was no music playing. even after realizing this it still sounded like i could hear music.

if your pills were clean you shouldnt hear anything haha.

sounds like they were cut with a psychedellic, cuz this happened to me when i took a clean pill + 10mg 2-CE. (not recommended)

but dont trip, you should be fine

It might be an early sign of mental instability or a disorder. My boyfriend has Schizophrenia, and it tends to slowly sneak up on you.

I don't think it had a psychedelic...
Maybe they had some meth in them? I've had some weird experiences with pills with meth in them XD Meth side effects can be creepy.
but yeh, you're taking a drug that is effecting your brain. It's probably more common at high doses (peaking on your fifth? as in fifth pill?). Probably some kind of side effect like brain zaps and shit.
But that is just a guess.

Also, a friend of mine came to be schizo after the last time he rolled, it made everything come out. He had small signs throughout his life, but it all came out at once like the e was a trigger.

In no way an expert but this used to happen me when I was a kid and smoked weed at a loud party, on the walk home I would always still hear the background noises of the people shouting over the music etc. Sometimes I would even stop and look around to see if there were people there. Never happened me on pills tho!

thats scary!!!im sorry:(

would it be the same with bi-polar disorder?

piperazines?
or you're close to going batshit insane...
hearing voices definitely isnt normal anytime...

I've had some weird shit happen to me on E. I've never heard voices, but that might just be me. Maybe it's MDA and not MDMA? MDA can be more psychedelic, I've heard a few people say they see shit on it. I'd test your pills to be sure they're some type of MDMA/MDA just to be safe though. You can buy tests from EZTest or DanceSafe.

I've experienced audio hallucinations on a couple of occasions. I've put it down to another drug being present, or maybe just being sold MDA. I've rolled dozens of times over the years and have only experienced this around 3 times.

Your pills may have had a bit of MDA in them. Don't worry about it.

I comboed 2c-e and 10x Salvia Extract and had voices in my head for a good two hours. It wasn't scary though, it was kind of interesting. Like I was having 20 channels of TV playing all at once, but could hone in on one conversation for a bit, or pull out and it was like being in a crowded room. It wasn't fun enough to warrant repeating though, but it wasn't enough to where I was worried.

A friend of mine was doing a lot of molly recently and he told me he was holding long conversations with people who didn't actually exist. And I have had OEV's on pure mdma before (not mda) so certainly mdma by itself is capable of such things, especially at higher dosages.

When you should worry is when you're completely at baseline and have gotten a few good night's sober sleep and still hear voices. Not while you're tripping.

I've had actual schitzo symptoms before, and I chalk it up to sleep deprivation and not having enough sober time between trips.

Also it is actually quite common for people to hear voices when they're laying down getting ready to fall asleep but are in an in-between wake and sleep state.

This exact same thing happened to me once when coming down from taking waaaaay too much molly. Or more than I probably should have, to say the least. Muffled conversations happening in the next room, distinct voices but couldn't make out what was being said. Now, this molly hadn't been tested or anything, so it's quite possible that it wasn't pure, which really wouldn't surprise me, tbh. But I think auditory hallucinations aren't too uncommon with e. In fact, I made a thread about it when it happened to me 'cause I was so spooked by it, and I seem to recall that that was the general consensus.

You're really getting annoying with this. Every post I see about people having weird trips on ANYTHING you comment saying "Oh my boyfriend has Schizophrenia blah blah blah, you must have it too, blah blah blah, it slowly sneaks up on you."

Seriously shut up.

It really depends on what you were doing during your peak - if you were in a busy bar/club etc then hearing voices/echos etc is possible (not so common). I have often finished clubbing gone home to a silent house and heard almost background noise of a club/bar.

This definatley can happen on m i heard muffled conversations after coming down off 500 miligrams of good mdma but i binged for weeks before. My friends get this to after a binge. The muffled conversations always come with very bad brain zaps. The type that keep you up at night

I've had this happen once after a night I took eight pills throughout the night. It was an awesome night, btw. I went to work the next day and heard the exact songs i was listening to the night before, but it was as if they were playing out loud on the intercom radio or something. It was trippin' me out, but I heard thru others this sometimes happens. I wouldn't worry too much about it until it starts happening all the time.

I am a mother of a young woman who committed suicide in her dorm room after struggling with voices that she began hearing after trying ecstasy. Please google Amazon.com and put in Voices Of Ecstasy by Minister Wendy Butts. I wrote the book as a warning to those who may not know that the onset of voices is quite possible from using ecstasy. This is not an effort to sell books - to test me on this, perhaps one person on the post can purchase one book and send that one book around to those who are also posting. In other words once finished reading that one single book send it forward to the next person and then that person can send it to another, etc. My goal is to help - please know that I am a mom who speaks to youth groups and young adults about the seriousness of ecstasy's ability to cause schizophrenic symptoms that are often non-reversible.

Blessing to you all and I am praying that whoever is having adverse reactions from this drug, you will be able to overcome its effects. Thank you and please be careful moving forward.
