healthy things to eat after a roll?

hey everybody. i've read in a bunch of places there are some good vitamins and minerals you should take after you roll to help bring you back to normal as well as help your brain out

i know about 5htp, that really isn't a part of my question. i think i've heard its good to take vitamin C after as well as drinking tea. anything else i should do? sometimes the days after can be harder for me than other people, so i'm just looking out for myself
 
in addition to taking multivitamins and a booster dose of vitamin c to help out your immune system, 5htp is good as well. but what is even more important is getting in a meal as soon as you feel you're able to.

that and rest + hydration.
 
Bananas are always good :) Pretty much just eat healthy before and after rolls and you'll feel better in general. Drink Gatorade during rolls to help with electrolytes, and just stay healthy in general. Start taking a daily vitamin, and actually take it everyday. (If you're a girl on birth control or if you take daily meds for any reason, take your daily multi vitamin at the same time as you take your pill(s) so you don't forget.) Just stay healthy and active, it helps a lot.
 
gatorade bananas avocado juice conjee (chinese rice soup goes down so well when ur peaking) liver support tablets or any sort of supplement to boost your immune system like raw garlic :P
 
I would say food in general is good to eat after rolling. Its not so much that you need to eat healthy foods after rolling...just eat something.

I can't count how many days I went without eating after a hard night of rolling. Just putting somthing in your gullet is good enough weather is be a McDonalds cheese burger or a plate of steamed veggies.
 
I like to eat lots of fiber and dark fruits, specifically cranberries, pomegranets and grapes, all of which have a good amount of antioxidants.
 
multivitamins, vitamin B, 5-HTP, vitamin c (immunity)
eat fruits, vegetables, (SALAD), protein

eat healthy and eat your vitamins!!!

Also mushrooms, anythings with selenium - that'll help your liver offshoot the damage that processing the MDMA might of done. PROTECT YOUR LIVER
 
thanks all. i'll probably eat a banana at the end of the night, then wake up, drink some green tea, pop some vitamin C and B and eat a big breakfast. seems like my best phase of action

I hate mushrooms (both regular and psychedelic lol)
 
water+sleep+fruits and vegetables more then heavy stuff like meat and dairy is what I stick to plus what you said about 5htp and multivitamins, sleep and water are by far the most important for me though
 
Live yoghurt, fruit especially ones with a high potassium content like peaches and bananas. I like muesli and my preferred drink is a pot of tea or 3.
 
can eating a high protein diet be as effective as supplementing 5-HTP?

I tried it this week and I might roll later..
 
After absentmindingly consuming 3 and surfing google for the last 12 hours i found bargs rootbeer and milk were a delicasy only known to a man stranded on an island with one pack of crackers, half a cigarette and wet matches with fucking hot chocolate to drink

None the less....i am seriously trying to imagine a voit volleyball as my only friend...smfh...damn desert islands...wwiillssoon!!!..hehehe

^That doesn't really make any sense at all I'm afraid. I know you might be on drugs, but can you please keep things sensical and on topic. Anyway, welcome to bluelight. :)

This thread is over six years old now... but I guess the answer is to eat healthy food the majority of the time. I can't imagine only topping up when you use drugs being very effective (unless you're taking something for a specific reason i.e high dose vitamin C or whatever), in which case you might want to calculate your dose in a very specific way and probably take a supplement.
