Thought some might find this useful.
Due to wife's nagging I had a super complete medical exam. Down my throat, up my ass, x-rays and the assorted poke and prodded. (prostrate exam = ouch)
I am a 40 year user of weed and I use it daily. Hardly never missed a day in those 40 years. I also have been addicted to the harder drugs for about 6-7 years. Gaining control over the harder ones but will always use weed. About a year ago I stopped smoking the weed and starting eating 1 firecracker a day. (wish I would have discover these sooner, really great way to get high)
Now I'm super lucky with illnesses. I'm hardly ever sick. The doctor sat down with me and went over all the results. He said my lungs show I was a light smoker in the past but were not bad at all. (I only smoked cigs. for 4 years in my youth) I would smoke about 2 joints a day in my 20's and 30's and then maybe 1 a day until I started eating it.
This is the quote from the doctor: "Your results were outstanding for a 55 year old man, you stayed away from all the bad things in life". I said in a kidding manner, "thats great doc and to think I've been abusing drugs all my life". He laughed and said to keep up the good work.
I know everybody is different and results will vary but I was shocked I was as healthy or even better then my straight as an arrow peers.
