Healing yourself from many trips

Every christmas my grandma make the DANKEST fudge ever and it tastes soooo good, I look forward to it every year we go there, But if grandma made that fudge 3 times a month, it wouldnt be nearly as special and I'd grow tired of something so awesome... plain and simple, you trip too much, it gets old and less enjoyable and leaves you with nothing to look forward to, which can lead to bad trips due to boredom!

Thats true too, i love looking forward to a good trip after not tripping for a good coupla months.

If you are taking acid two times every three weeks, you should feel some sort of reprucutions on your body. I know my week is extra tiring after tripping the weekend before. You should definetly rest up, and have a great trip next time.

Opium is defintely more dangerous then most psychedelics; its pretty hard to overdose on psychedelics an happens VERY rarely; many people have died from opiate use. Psychedelics do no physical damage to the brain at all.

MANY psychs do no damage to the brain at all. Many of the phens are neurotoxic, and most, if not all dissociatives are (if you'd class them as psychs, I do)

I do agree that psychs are safer than opiates, GENERALLY. Mostly the tryptamine family, although I'm certain there is an exception or two to that rule. Regardless, that's why you do research and exercise moderation and safety.

EDIT: Props to the 2112 acid guy. Good album :P

Yeah take a break,

trips can heal you and teach you things that reflect the part of your life mostly since your last good trip (assumed you processed the past in it). That way they close a chapter and give you a fresh new outlook for the coming chapter.
If you trip too often, not only is there little new life experience saved up to trip on but you also reset yourself before getting out there and integrating everything. I used to think that a slate wiped clean is best kept pristine to keep the doors of perception open. But in time I figured that it's all about integrating the cosmic plane of spiritual trips and everyday life, the mundane ups and downs. They need to align and match up, existinig in each other. Not only the profound found (lol) in trips.

Of course, tripping can also be very recreational which is why I still do it relatively often. But there aren't really many deep trips among them that often, the last one I had is some time ago.

Anyway take a break for a while to really touch baseline again, aften that trip less frequently than you do now and quality will eventually return in the place of quantity (or more accurately: frequency).

Plant-drugs like Iboga and Ayahuasca which can actually healed damaged receptors in the brain.

You get real.

Yeah, stop eating that semi synethetic acid shit and start eating ergot!

MMM... death by nature! ;)

Heal, reset, restore.

W/e you wanna call it, maybe I'm using the wrong terminology.

or...maybe you're just wrong. That sounds more like it to me.

Well just lay off the drugs...

...and continue have sex with women and having fun with new people.

Doesn't sound soo bad, does it?

Lol, the problem is his outlook. Having sex with women and meeting new people aren't even as interesting as the states of mind achieved during GOOD LSD and good mushrooms.

I've tripped on LSD, Mushrooms probably 5 times each. and about 60 times on various 2c compounds and 5-meo-dmt a handful of times. This is all in the past 8 months.

Anyway I've been noticing my trips becoming visually less intense, just overall less intense, last time i tripped i took 20mg 2c-e and a hit of proven good acid and hardly had close eyed visuals, its a little worry some.

I trip probably every week to 2 times every 3 weeks I'm guessing, but there's always a week where its 2-3-4 times.

Anyone got any ideas for i guess, healing myself??

I think your issue is you have a chemical tolerance.

Wait at least 1 month between psychedelic use.

Seriously, there's no getting used to psychedelics mentally. It's a physical tolerance you have, your brain needs to recharge its receptors so you can trip next time you ingest LSD or mushies.

i guess im just gonna take a break. last time i tripped saturday, the 13th, so i'll wait 2 weeks and see what happens.

Other then that, it seems pointless, im not gaining new insights, only having fun with new people and crazy sex with a girl..

I have done the same thing... although quite a few more trips than you have had, over years. I once took a 5 month break after a year and a half of tripping probably an average of 3 times a week, sometime more, sometimes less, and although it was better when I tripped again after that, it was nothing like it was back when I hadn't tripped a lot.

To some extent, your trips will never be the same. How could they? Your early trips are so intense and special because they're just that, special. They're brand new experiences then, new paths being forged in your brain. Now that you've done it a bunch of times, it's a lot less likely you'll encounter something new in each trip. I think the key to having fully immersive and worthwhile trips is to space them out enough that you're only tripping after you've moved on to some sort of new stage in your life, or you have something new to explore. Along that same vein, it's good to keep trying to trip in new situations, with new people, in new settings. If you keep tripping in the same situations and/or places, you'll tend to have predictable experiences.

These days I don't trip very often... I have lost the desire to do it all the time like I did for a while. When I do trip, it's definitely a trip, which it barely even was during my times of doing it all the time, by the end. But it's not like it was in my early days. And I doubt it ever will be again. But that's part of the evolution of life. There's more to tripping than extreme intensity and visuals, subtler realms to explore.
