HBWR question (technical)

I woke up this morning and sort of unconsciously began preparing some HBWR seeds by scraping the coatings off of them. I did this as well yesterday-some, but decided not to go for the experience then. Today I won't either, do to not feeling up to par physically because of something I ate... But right now I have 9 seeds broken up in a small amount of water, in a jar. As sort of an experiment, I added some chlorella to the mix. Chlorella has pepsin in it, and chlorophyllin- enzymes which help break stuff down. My reasoning began with simply to help break down the seeds, as I didn't powder them- I just split them up quite a bit. I still plan on consuming the seeds, as well.

I could have prepared it differently, but live and learn, right? Anyway.. My question is this: Will the enzymes in the chlorella disable or break down the alkaloids and make the dose less potent? Or will these enyzmes "ignore" said alkaloids (not destroying them)? I don't really know much about it... hoping someone might. Wondering if I just need to start over, or go ahead and dose despite not feeling the hottest.

I plan on dosing tomorrow. This is longer than I intended to keep the seeds soaked (~2 hours), so I have put them in the refrigerator. I hope also that this won't effect potency.

Thanks.

Not sure about the chlorella, but I think you are soaking the seeds too long really. 1-2 hours is plenty of time for a cold water extraction imo. Not that they won't work still, but leaving them soaking for too long can definitely reduce the potency. Also I'm not sure if there is really a point to putting them in water if you are going to consume the seed matter anyways.

I was thinking the same thing...

but then I thought that perhaps what the water extracts into it would make it easier assimilated, with a faster come-on, and what's still lodged in the seeds, I'd still get by consuming them. I know- though that a big reason people do this extraction is to avoid nausea, which is supposedly caused by something in the seeds-matter.

I have read in some guides to soak for 24 hours, but I've also heard about 2 hours is the right amount... so I guess it can't reduce the potency by too much letting it soak for the 24 or so, especially cooled, and away from light(?).

I'm considering just sacrificing this 9 to the earth, or something, and starting over, though. I'm not sure if I'll even be ready tomorrow. But then again I did "recite" to "God" that regardless of how I feel, or the potency, I'll consume what I prepared tomorrow. If not anything else, as an experiment. Hmm.

Thanks for your reply.

Oh true. I'm sure you'll absorb it faster that way. If you can stomach the seeds then go for it. Another thing about the cold water extraction is, if you weren't going to eat the seeds as well you need to have about double the dose to get the same effects as eating the raw seeds (worth doing for the reduction in nausea for me). And yeah, 24 hours shouldn't be too bad for it. Definitely keep it cold and dark.
