Having no one to roll with...

I tried solo rolling one last time and I know I'm done with it now.
It's only fun the first time, with the novelty and all, but it really gets boring after that. Even listening to music don't cut it. Music on MDMA is just no match for music on psychedelics, IMHO.

The only problem I forsee with rolling in a social setting is the nausea. I always vomit on MDMA. It's not a problem at home, but at someone's house, a club or just outdoors, throwing up in public is gross (even though you probably don't care while you're rolling). I'm guessing the comedown is also much worse than when you can just take a xanax and crawl into your bed.

Lol. We don't even have proms where I live (France). We just take a graduation exam and that's it... High school in the US seems to be much livelier socially speaking than in Europe (well, at least judging from your TV shows^^)

I already candyflipped 2 or 3 times. It's really not what it's hyped up to be.
The actual "flip" when the MDMA comes up and peaks is a great rush, but you come down too quickely and after that you're just tweaking... which isn't fun on acid...
 
Theres a few threads in here about rolling alone but I cant search/so I cant leave you the links.

I really enjoy rolling alone though - it can be a magical couple of hours spent doing exactly what 'you' want. Laze around naked, listen to some music when wandering around the house, nice shower/hot tub, couple of drinks, stick you headphones on and go for a walk outside (if safe to do so). I find that if your rolling alone then simply forget about chatting to other people - if you phone one friend you will then want to phone another, then another and the point of rolling alone is lost.
 
dude, rolling alone sucks. If noone is on the internet or if you dont have a friend to talk to, the only way to maxamize your trip is to blast music nonstop. Rolling with a bunch of other people who are'nt rolling is even worst(you say things you later regret. The only way to properly role is with other rollers.
Instead of rolling, just take amphetamines and some benzos, call old friends, and reinstate a friendship. Ones personality becomes more likable on that combination(in small doses.
WHen you roll alone, you like you and other people more, but it doesnt make you seem like a better person in the eyes of the sobers.
 
what a properly timed thread. the past couple years i've had a couple friends to roll with but it's always at my place or if it's at their place then it's pretty toned down, lights out and some music on. it was nice for awhile but it got tiresome. i miss back in the days 9 years ago when i used to rave every weekend. i miss that social connection, meeting new people, sharing interests, being in an environment with SO MUCH stimuli while rolling. last friday i dropped some mollies and my wife drove me around. i went to a couple friends house who i've never rolled with before, i went to the mall, etc, and as weird as all that sounds i had way more fun than being at home just cuz it was different and new.

what i really want is to roll at raves again and meet new friends but my area's rave scene took a plunge in 2003. it's hard to find good raves nowadays it seems.

i very much relate to what's being said here. rolling solo can be fun once in awhile but it's always lacking. i prefer to trip alone but with rolling it's different, i really need that social interaction and i prefer meeting new people being in new places. doing the "same old thing" gets old even on a euphoric drug like mdma. you have to keep it fresh
 
Hahahah I totally thought highschool was gonna be the way that it is in the american sex comedies, but suprise suprise its not. American dramas and comedys are ussually ridiclulous. Lol I rember when mean girls came out everyone thought it was the most accurate highschool movie ever... the kids who were saying this however were in middle school. I like Skins (british teen drama) but its often a bit to unsplausable. People dont like watch reality (thus "reality" tv was created)
