Hey, I've been taking vitamins and extra potassium, even a prescription grade vitamin that helps fix neuro function, but I still feel terrible. It's like my mind is completely numb but my heart is always pounding, I can't breath without my inhaler and my legs ache. I just want to go to sleep. What I would do to just fucking sleep. Does anyone have any advice? This is my 19th day clean, please tell me it is about to get better? I'm so depressed, I lost my job in the process of getting clean 'cause no good deed goes unpunished and people like to talk shit in this town. Please tell me someone had some advice other than kratom? It freaks me out to no end that people get addicted to it-- I don't need another opiate. I'm working on trying to find some ketamine. I don't know what the fuck to do -- lm so tired, guys, so damn tired.

Hey Im going on almost two months clean and it does get a lot better.

19 days is amazing but for me it take awhile to feel better and even longer to get some sleep but u r almost there so plz avoid kratom it will just set u back

If u go to the gym it will b a great help even if u feel u can't do the gym just go n once ur there and work out some u will be amazed at how good u feel I go everyday no matter what

Also if u still have some rls keeping u up at night try some magnesium it helps I also eat a bowl of cereal b4 bed I feel it helps me also n a cup of sleepytime tea

So hang in there it will get a lot better very soon!

What are you clean from and how much were you using? Different substances will have different lengths of withdrawal so it depends. Also depends on your own body chemistry and your diet, exercise, etc.

I agree with the exercise bit - I usually walk an hour everyday, and it really helps - in fact yesterday I didn't walk and I didn't get to sleep til like 4 am, and I had to get up at 6:30 this am. Sucked, but I learned my lesson - I need to walk if I want to sleep. Have you tried melatonin? I know some people who say it works and others who said it did nothing for them - people kicking opiates I mean... it's worth a try.

Thanks so much everyone. I was on about a gram of decent dope a day or a bunch of dilaudid/ opana for about 2 years a little more really and this is my second bout if opiate addiction where it got real bad. Ill work on going to the gym I tried to walk today looking at this and melatonin does work sometimes or it seems like it does. Ill get some magnesium. Thank guys! It's weird my boyfriend was going through the same shit and other than sleep it just seems like he is doing so much better. My anxiety is out of control-- I lost my job in the midst if getting clean mostly for a bad reputation and I wasn't there to defend myself for two weeks so it got kind of out of control. I think that made the depression a bit worse.

You are going through Paws, it takes time to slowly get better. I got off methadone after 5 years and the RLS is unbearable. Get Melotonin over the counter and it will help you fall sleep. I am on 3 mg clonzopam, 100mg Wellbutin which is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor, and Requip. I had no problem even being honest with my Dr about my drug problems. It had gotten to the point I could hardly walk my hips, legs, and ankles hurt so bad. After two weeks the RLS is almost gone.
Also feel 100% better from the other paws symtoms, I was ready to kill myself I felt so bad.
The melotonin in the yellow bottles is worthless.
