Having a opiate/xanax problem

Well....I was running low on vics (5mg) only 3 left....so I tried adding in some benzos to see if it would help....and not only was it not enough opiates to get the normal buzz....so I added about 3mgs of xanax .5s to the mix and I literally feel NOTHING zero buzz from 15mgs of hydrocodone and 3 mgs of xanax....what am I doing wrong? :/ How much higher should I go on xanax dosage....I just need some honest advise asap

benzos sometimes seem to just have no affect on people.

I just fall asleep with high doses. dont feel anything

its like being tired without like the bad feeling that comes with tired

Tolerance maybe? I wouldn't feel anything from 100mgs of hydrocodone. You may be graduating in your habit.

the same exact thing happened to me when i was in your position. low on hydrocodone so i added some ativan and it felt like i just took the hydrocodone

When you cant feel 10 Norcos (100mgs), thats is when you know you're going towards harder opiates to catch a buzz.

The opiate ladder - potency has very little to do with it. It's how intense the effects are at equianalgesic doses.

Start with codeine and slowly graduate:

Codeine
Hydrocodone
Oxycodone
IV Demerol
Methadone
IV Levorphanol
IV Hydromorphone
IV Oxymorphone
IV Morphine sulfate
IV Morphine diacetate (heroin)
IV various morphine salts (ie. morphine dinicotinate [nicomorphine], morphine hydrochloride, morphine methylbromide etc)

^^ so true, I see so many people jumping from hydrocodone strait to hydromorphone and it makes me sad. people making threads about taking oxy a fer times and want to shoot heroin...geez

as for the topic, I'd say your tolerance has jumped up and some people don't notice the effects of benzos until they are in a hypnotic stupor. I'd say stop taking everything and wait, as alprazolam takes a while to kick in and is very subtle in its effects until you are flat out hammered

yea as others have said tolerance and i am very bad habit of taking orally about 2 30mg oxycodone, 2 2mg xanax, 2 350mg soma to feel the right buzz and thats a huge dose for a normal person and its sad to be honest. I have now started to reduce my tolerance and be more responsible the past few months.
