So ive tried every drug out there basically, LSD DOB Mushrooms Meth Dillys you name it. Now I was recently prescribed a shitton of dilaudid and i am all dont now. Ive always been curious about what it would be like to do a fat rail of down but im a little nervous. How does it compare to say 16 mg of dilaudid? When i do a large dose of hydromorph i slowly get a warm buzzy drunk feeling then i just find it impossible to do anything, including staying awake. Ill stand there swaying around then ill go sit down start having a conversation, pass out halfway through, have a really vivid dream then wake up talking about the same shit 30 seconds later. My friends find it hilarious. Is Heroin any bit like that? If it is like dillys, I think im going to try it.... just once.... haha but in all seriousness im an upper guy, i dont really see a point in downers for daily use so im not scared of addiction.

I've never had hydromorphone since it simply doesn't exist where I live, but from what I have heard most people prefer it over street heroin if they could chose. They probably feel very much alike, heroin might last a little longer. If you have dilaudid, I doubt heroin would impress you that much.

I've never tried heroin, even though I've been presented with fully pure powdered ampules. I have tried everything else opiate wise that's availiable here in the UK. I once tried to buy it and got ripped off - when I was at a low point in my life and am actually grateful that happened. I am scared of heroin. It seems like quite an intense drug, and I think i would be instantly addicted to the stuff.

If you really want to try it and have good experience with opiates, I don't know, I wouldn't advocate the use of it or condone it however its each person to himself. If you do - be careful with it and make sure you assess it thoroughly to get its quality/purity down and be safe with it.

Heroin is no mystery, it's simply another potent opioid. All opioids are very similar though have different subtleties. Depending on your dose heroin will feel extremely similar to the dilaudid you've had.

My advice...don't touch it. No offense meant but given your description of how you use dilaudid ( taking doses that have you nodding out on your feet), you almost certainly will get yourself into trouble. It may seem fun and funny now, but you are headed for a lot of future misery If you continue down this road.

Thanks for the input guys, im not scared of the addiction potential though. Ive had my runs with meth and coke and find any downers not addictive at all. Uppers though...

I am a IV user so keep that in mind with my response. And heed this posters warning, yes it may be funny now but later in life it is sickening...

Oxymorphone and hydromorphone have a SUPER kick to them but the high doesn't last long, don't know how to explain it but it literally takes my breath away 2-3 seconds after the plunger drops. Heroin has more kick to it say than oxycodone or something but doesn't come close to dilaudid for that initial rush, but the high lasts longer and in my opinion is better.

This all depends on quality, type, and method of ingestion as well.. Since you are a intra nasal user I would think that you would like herion more than dilauded b/c like I said earlier I typically only like the morphones for that initial rush and since you don't really get a rush anyway you will prob like heroin more...

It's a mistake to think you can't become addicted to something based on your usage patterns in the past... it can happen at any time. Many people who would say they are into stims and stims only, end up becoming addicted to heroin and vice versa. They are insanely addicting substances for a reason.. it can happen to anybody at anytime, unfortunately. Regardless of history.

^ completely agree. when i started taking codeine at the ripe age of 14, i didnt even know about the addictive qualities of the drug and though meh i might as well take it everyday because it's lovely.

by the age of 15 a year later i quit just because i thought it was damaging me. i had no idea i was completely hooked on the stuff and addicted to codeine, yet nobody had ever told me it was an addictive substance. i continued sporadic use of codeine/dihydrocodeine for about 2 years. i was hooked.

then i moved onto benzos, i wasn't told it was addictive but i knew from reading about them that they were. i thought meh, im not easily addicted to anything, i'll be fine. oh boy. how wrong i was.

you can get addicted to anything. it doesn't matter - as long as it gives you that pleasure, that rush and that feeling you crave, then you can. uppers, downers, round-a-bouters it doesn't matter.

That's right. Also the first time since substance abuse coure at University I've heard someone use the term "all-a-rounders" or as you put, "round-a-bouters". Good point.
