waht is the reason for this. it was realy popular up until it was made illegal last year. then it just kind of dropped off the face of the earth. i was looking for it for personal use... alot of people had bad experiences with it, but then again, none of them could dose it properly. that shit can be great if you do dose it right though. but neways, is it still around?

I think you just answered your own question there. It's no longer available because GBL is harder to obtain and more expensive. People used to just order barrels of the shit for dirt cheap from american chemical companies, that's why it was so common.
 
man,i almost HATE these threads about GHB...i remember a few years back,i had picked up 2 gallons of GOOD "G",that ONE CAPFUL FUCK YA UP stuff..i was taking it all the time,and never built a tolerance to it really..i knew exactly how much to take to get that PERFECT buzz,and it was awesome..nowadays,theres this GBL,1.4 BULLSHIT out there that not only is it hard to gauge how much to take,it takes longer to kick in and is harder on my body it seems when im coming down..from GHB,i would get a little tired,but from GBL,i get an upset stomach,irritable,tired,and just an overall sick feeling...
its too bad i sold most of that GHB i had..i miss it MUCH!!!

Yup, it's a C-I drug now, so it's going to be less common and more expensive... we can thank the idiots who slammed 5 cap fulls and chased it with some Vodka for that...

Yeah, GHB is undoubtedly the esiest drug to make! But with new legal restrictions on GBL, quick profiteerers have no doubt made their cash and don't want the risk of manufacturing an 'illegal drug'.
 
BRY, i am used to that intensity stuff as well. but what is the difference between GHB, and GBL? i have not read nothing on it, but i did take a cap of something CLAIMED to be GHB about 2 months back. it had the same taste as ghb, but there really wasn't nothing to it. i wouldn't think that he had it all watered down due to the taste, so i am thinking that perhaps it was this GBL stuff. shit, guess i will just check it out on erowid....
 
Bry Bry, are you referring to 1,4 butandiol? That's not the same thing as GBL. GBL can be made into GHB with sodium or potassium hydroxide. Butandiol cannot. Both GBL and 1,4 Butandiol will be metabolized to GHB by your liver, but the diol is more toxic and isn't a good thing. If you have GBL, you should make it into GHB. Much nicer on your liver and esophagus.
And j*/$%# (what the fuck?): GBL is a lot stronger than GHB and does not taste the same. It tastes like furniture stripper, since that's what it is. I find the Lycaeum has the best links on GHB.
