Hey everyone,
I couldn't recover my old account (sir face) so I created a new one and figured I should say hello.
A few years ago I moved back to Minneapolis from Chicago and am looking for some BL'ers to connect with in the Minneapolis area. I moved away from Chicago when I decided to get treatment for my heroin addiction. Suboxone is a miracle drug and has helped me in unbelievable ways. I spent a few years sober to get my life on track without any distractions from drugs. Since then I've started an online marketing business and got married. Amazing what can happen when feeding your addiction isn't the #1 priority every waking hour like it was for me. With life stable for the past couple years, I now comfortably dabble with opiates on occasion and smoke some weed here and there. Nothing like the old days and that's fine with me.
I have actually been on the hunt for opiates the past few weeks but can't track down dope in the hood like I used to. There used to be somewhat of an open-air market in Minneapolis - at least you could drive around and get nods from people who could help out. But since checking my old spots it seems like things have changed a lot in the past 6 years. Can't find anything. Maybe I look like less of a junkie than I used to, who knows....
Anyways, glad to back. This forum has been a tremendous source of information and lord knows what kind of damage I would have caused to myself or others without it. Hopefully I can contribute some of what I've learned over the years and help others the same way this forum has helped me.
Trying to track down some old friends on here - holler at me if we met up in Chi back in the day
