Hello! I work at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) a division of NIH. I am posting on behalf of one of our study team members who is seeking individuals interested in completing a paid online study. This study is IRB approved through the NIH.

Dr. Epstein and his research team at the National Institute on Drug Abuse are collecting opinions on possible new treatment methods for opioid use disorder (OUD). Using an online survey, we want to understand the acceptability of opioid treatments among adults who have used opioids non-medically (regardless of whether they have been diagnosed with an OUD) or have taken methadone or buprenorphine for OUD in the past six months.

Complete our online survey and help us better understand your concerns and ‘design’ the ideal treatment. This will guide us in determining how to better direct research and resources into existing and new treatments for OUD.

We are now recruiting adults ages 18 or older who have used opioids non-medically or have taken methadone or buprenorphine for OUD in the past six months. You must have access to a phone, tablet, or laptop and be fluent in English to complete the survey. We’ll ask for your basic demographic information, your experience with substance use, and your thoughts on some new treatment methods for OUD.

If you qualify for the survey, you will receive $15 for completing the 15–20-minute survey.

To see if you qualify for the survey, go to https://researchstudies.nida.nih.gov/2105o/ and complete the online screener. Email us with any questions at [email protected]

Thank you for your consideration!
