stayed sober and watched your friends roll? i find it funny as hell to see how i act when under the influence. it is a nice free entertainment for the night as well. anyone have any funny stories of stuff they have seen while observing sober? ill start with one. one time i was at a hotel with my best friend and his girl and a few other friends. i wasnt rolling because i had to work the next day so i just chilled and made sure everyone stayed hydrated. actually at one point i went to wal mart to get them OJ. so at one point in the night my best friend (who was also my ex roomate) walks up to me real close to my face and says "who the fuck are you??" i said dude its me im your best friend you used to live with me. he says "oh" and goes and sits back down
 
Are you sure he was on MDMA?..
I would never forget my best friend, or even some random joe who was at my house, while rolling. lol

yea he was on it lol bc i had some of the same pills the next night. he was just rolling so hard, he started having vision distortions. you know like if you are watching a stick show and someone gets their face close and the next thing you know you are tranced out and their face is like some random asian dude? its weird but in a good way lol. but this was back when strong good pills were not a problem to get ahold of. at least not for me
 
Nope. I'm the junkie in my group. They've watched me roll. Never the other way around.
 
I was watching some friends roll, I asked one of them a question, he started talking normally with eloquence, and midway through he started mumbling like he was Charlie Brown's teacher.
 
I've rarely watched rolling people, but I love when I do!! =D Don't have much in the way of stories, but they're generally so happy, innocent, and adorable that it cheers me up and gives me a little hope for the future of the human species.
 
never through choice, only when i didn't get sorted, not necessarily friends, just everyone / anyone in a club, or a party, But i have to leave & go home i can't watch them its too painful to watch,
really painful.
 
I never have watched any of my friends roll, but I have seen people roll at concert when I have been sober, and they are the nicest people in the world.
 
Rolling people tend to make gross faces and say dumb things. I can look past all of that, because I get it, but personally I wouldn't want to be around anyone while rolling that wasn't also rolling.
 
I have attended many raves sober and have seen many of my friends rolling absolute face xD it's a lot of fun I enjoy taking care of high kids and making sure they have a great time. The grins on their faces make me so happy!
 
All the time! We go out to raves and EDM clubs 2x a week or so, so rolling is out of the question- but usually the places we go, I'd say 50% of the crowd is on MDMA, something similar, or psychedelics. My boyfriend is really good and and into light shows (he has a collection of gloves), so we attract rolling people like a magnet.

I adore hanging out with people who are rolling when I'm not, it's great to see that euphoric, friendly, loved up state as an observer. I usually feel like I'm rolling because of it ;) Somehow, photos of people rolling usually just look sweaty and silly to me though. LOL
 
ya, all the time.

when you get to the rave and havent popped yet but the other 10 thousand noobs all popped at like 5pm and youre waiting til 9:30 cause your favorite dj is on at 10:30.

so for a good 3 or 4 hours you watch thousands of people rolling tits running around.

i think its great, for the most part.
 
I've done shrooms one night and then E the next and not felt it at all, whilst others who were not shrooming the night before are bouncing off the walls.

It's fun for an hour or so, but then gets tiring - particuarly as their minds start to break down and behavioiur gets weirder, conversations repeating themselves, lack of civilised discussion etc...

Not everyone else is nearly as judgmental about things as petty as appearances when on drugs. 8) You should give rolling with sober people a try sometime ;) Even if they did judge you, why should you care? Okay, so they think you look stupid. That is their opinion. Don't take other people's opinions personally. If you take everything personally and stay afraid of what others think about you, you put yourself at risk for being easily manipulated by group think.

^^^this. yes people will do crazy and weird things rolling, but if you are sober you get the opportunity to see how you act when you roll, and maybe pick up some things to work on in case you go out in public and don't want people to know. plus you get some hilarious and interesting conversation with people. for instance i once had my best friend's gf tell me that if she had met me instead of my best friend she would be with me. then she proceeded to "love up" to me but i had to put a stop to that quick lol. wouldnt stab my friend in the back like that
 
Good move on that part, pnut. Mad respect for sticking up for your friends and respecting boundaries =D
 
love being around ppl that are rolling when im sober.. give me soemthing to look forward to and the conversations are just wicked. plus they get so happy when i have weed for later lol
 
My favorite girl was rolling for some reason one night, ditched all her friends and I met her down the street. We were having a party at my house but I bring her back and lay her down on the couch and start giving her a backrub and handrub. The key is to use a very light touch with just your finger tips. She was GONE haha. No one really knows about E around here (college town, it's 95% drinking only it seems) so they were raising a few eyebrows.

all the time. i only roll 6-8 times a year, and most of my friends go a little more balls to the wall, but i still love hanging out with them and giving light shows and being around people in that state of mind. i can kind of feed off of their positive vibes, smoke a bunch of weed and have a good night. it also makes me realize i'm not a drug addict.
