This guy gave me $ to get crack for him and $ for a pipe. I told him i would be right back ;)

I ended up keeping the 85 dollars and buying myself some heroin. :) i try to avoid this person now if i ran into him i would probably come up with some lame excuse like "the dealer robbed me" lol

Btw- this happened years ago, i was just thinking about it... Also this guy was in rehab living in a half way house, thats how i justified it in my head.....

I know a member once robbed Pete Doherty of 50-off quid. It happens when one addict gives another addict money for addictive substances...It's kinda sad.
 
No, but I had to learn that lesson the hard way; The all familiar "I'll be right back"...

Sorry to put it so bluntly but I think that's just low and... Pathetic.

Make your own money, earn your own high. It'll taste all that much sweeter.

But if someone puts their trust in you, I don't think you should abuse it. Maybe I'm just too much of a softie for the drug scene. But that's something I would NEVER do.
For example I helped complete strangers get their fix because they knew a friend of mine.

Not trying to diss you or make you look bad. I'm not judging you either. I know I did some crazy shit when I was desperate for money/drugs.

If your an addict how can you tell anoyher addict yheydid somethig low i know damn well if your an addict you have done some fucked up shit before!

Because despite my addiction I never went as low as ripping people off?
Also, you sure you're clean now because your typing suggests otherwise. :D

Was trying to keep it friendly, but clearly you won't let me. :(

Well i did relapse recently but im working on that.....

So you have never stolen anything from anyone in your life??
 
I have, I stole a pokemon card I really wanted back when I was little. It was a shiny charizard.
I once stole a toy mouse (for my cat), also when I was little. That was just for the thrill. (I was like 6 yrs old lol)

Other than that, I don't think I have. Once I "took" a guys weed. He had left it at my place and it was only one joint. I didn't have any at the time so I smoked it. I confessed it to him a while later, he didn't even remember and was glad I told him. :)

Think that's pretty much it.

Good luck on getting that relapse under control. I've been playing around with benzos and opiates too the last few days after 1,5 months of abstinence. Guess we both need to step up and get rid of our bad habits. :)
 
Never stolen for drugs, never will. I've had friends rob me that way and it breaks my heart.

Meth, not even once. Hitler's drug of choice.
 
There are people that cross that line, and there are others that do not. I've had 3 people do that to me in my lifetime, and all of them ended up in really bad places in life. I had another friend that ripped off everybody but me. I remember I was the last person to see him before he went to detox because literally evreybody was after him since he ripped them off, and he was hiding out in a location only I knew about. That was years ago, but hes strung out again and still doesn't rip me off. The most I spot him is 60 bucks, but still that's enough for him to get high once and never come back. He did it once with less cash than that, and actually came through a few days later with the bags he owed me, and the truth as to why he didn't come back that night, so that's why I say he didn't rob me really.

As for me, I've never robbed another junkie like that. The worst I did was take a few pills from someone I know that doctor shops and has so many pills he doesn't knew the difference, let alone what day today is.
 
Never. But, I've had it happen to me more times than I can count. It IS crushing (when it's a 'friend'). Fucking sucks.

Yeah, getting ripped off by a stranger is one thing. I had that happen to me once. (The guy went through so much trouble to steal 10 bucks from me for some speed, i just lol'd and left.)

But getting ripped off by a friend is a whole other story. Luckily my friends are all good guys, and I don't see it in them to steal. Except maybe one, but he hasn't stolen anything from me (yet?) so I don't care.
 
I hate people who would steal from their friends or parents/family. Thats just really fucked up....

I have never had that happen to me, but if it did i would be heart broken.
 
Doesn't matter if I hate the person or if they steal from everyone. Stealing for drugs is a temporary solution with a high risk and low reward. Gotta moderate your use to fit your actual income.
 
I did it a couple times when heroin was involved. I didnt really feel bad about it I mean junkys do what junkys do. I felt like it was all in the game.

Nobody needs to steal for drugs. Some people won't buy any drugs if they don't have the money at the time, whereas other people go to extreme efforts to get high when they don't have their own money.
 
I've done it, though I'm proud to say I can count the amount of times I did it in on one hand.

It's always been for cocaine or dope. I'll justify it by telling myself "they don't have a habit, they have actual money, they have this, they have that...and I dont."

In the end its a shit thing to do. I've been on the opposite side of that stick way too many times, and its just a crap feeling.
