Have you ever pawned anything for drugs?

I have not, but I had a LOT of my valuables ripped off by others, who then proceeded to pawn it to feed their habits. My engagement ring and favorite antique earrings are two that come to mind right off the bat.

Not for drugs, but I pawned my violin back in the day when my husband was in between jobs and money was tight. I meant to get it out, but never did. I also pawned my wedding ring for gas money, but I didn't have any emotional attachment to it at that point. Gold prices have risen, and I could get a lot a lot more for it nowadays, however.
 
Have you ever wondered why this site is called "bluelight"? Some just assume it means cops. It's more like the emergency room at the hospital, in reference. Quit the research.™
 
i've been very close to it, but knew how disapointed and pissed off i would be afterwards. i really dont have anything of value, but the performance parts on my car can bring in a shitload. i dont want to make my car slower just to get high though, thankfully.

i generally always have a job. usually ill be broke for a couple days of the week or when rent is due, but i cant go giving away my shit for a weak night of feeling good.
 
Friend came to my house saying that there was acid in town (for the first time ever). I was at the time broke as shit. But I had to get money for it, I grabbed a few of my old Wii games and pawned them :).

-clothes
-guitars (sold, then bought back b/c i felt bad, then jst recently pawned again hah-sic)
-vinyl (records) (c-list is a great way to find people who want random things you might have...)
- computer/ipod/cd's
-jewerly (sold two pair of my diamond earrings....the second pair was a replacement from my uncle after he learned about my drug problem/pawning problem back in 03)
-cell phones
-old musical equipment (hey, even if you think it's junk...you can prob. sell enough to get yourself a small bag or something)

the question really should be .......for loser junkies like myself at least...."what haven't you pawned" or "what haven't you done/lied about for drugs" ahhhhhhh, the joys of being a puppet to the boy...

believe it or not i just tried to sell a "furby" online..lol lol....

but, on a side note, i don't think i'll be able to sell on ebay anymore...due to restriction's on my account for "shill bidding"....oops :0.. although, i still got some money coming my way tomorrow for my old cell phone...yeeeeeah...finally....now only if i can find some good dpe
 
I've sold a lot of stuff I didn't need on the internet...like books and shit. Thank god I've never pawned anything. But really there isn't a whole lot that is MINE to pawn
 
I find the whole pawning things for weed very strange. Sure if u got some old shit you dont want or watever, but actual valuable things?!

I have been smoking weed for 5 years, 4 of those have been every single day (hell im blazing now) but if a day comes and I cant get any then I just chill and leave it. Wait till I can get some more...
 
I sold all my old games on the PS2 and X-box and shit on e-bay then bought an ounce with all that. I felt dirty all over, until I started smoking the weed.
 
I sold my Nintendo Wii, my old flat-panel 20 inch TV, my Playstation 2, my LCD HD 19" widescreen computer monitor, my 30gb Video iPod, and I even stole my grandmother's car and tried to sell that! I also stole a lot of money from my parents and sold some of my brother's video games and his Nintendo DS. I know, I'm an asshole. Let me rephrase that, I WAS an asshole...when I was shooting dope.

Now that I'm clean, I am working on getting everything back. I have a new iPod, new TV, and PS2. I should be getting a MacBook for Christmas, and as soon as I stop smoking cigarettes (hopefully come the new year), I will be buying a PS3 or XBox 360. Ahh, it's nice to have materialistic possessions when not addicted to drugs.

lol, never pawned anything, but did trade a flowlight (good, battery powered glowstick) for 2 yellow glocks lol

hahaha. same thing happened to me pretty much. pawned my fender precision american made bass while completely stupid off of clonazepam. woke the next morning wodering where the fuck my gutair went. i ended up with 250 though. i dont even remember doing it. good ol' memory erasers :\
 
pawned just about every valuable thing I owned in the last few months, I didn't want to go without oxy for even a day
 
Sure have, for weed of all things.

When my weed "habit" was at its heaviest me and my two stoner buddies would raid our possessions for shit to pawn.

I sold every book I owned, got 5$ for it :\ I should've gone to the book store that wasn't going broke! He also wouldn't take all my books so I had to walk around with a backpack full of books all day.

My friends pawned a bunch of their books too.

We also pawned gaming systems, old dvds and video games, etc.

In fact I can honestly say that I pretty much sold everything I owned for weed, not that I had that much to begin with and I don't really miss any of it. I get books from the library and I can get music and whatnot online so meh.

movies,subs,jewlery,moms jewlery, grandmas jewlery (gold is worth alot at my pawnshop), rare coins, dvd player, xbox, xbox controllers, 900$ camera, moms wedding ring, more coins that werent mine, ipod.
