With help from Trey -
Have you ever considered . . .
[one friendship regained
another returned
“i told a lie and she got mad
she wasn’t there when things got bad . . .”
and this season will end
and with all of nature’s changes
come blessings and cursings
visions and revisions
light and shadow
joy and pain . . .
from ashes we gain life
and to ashes we return
and in between lie the visions and revisions
which can take a man to the most glorious balconies of heaven]
dancing naked . . .
[ or the foulest subterranea of hell
from the embryonic comforts of friendship . . .
to that peculiar solitude of adolescence
this too is a season
have you learned these lessons?
do you understand their meaning?
how right can I be in gaining . . .
a part of you?
how wrong could I be in returning. . .
a part of me?
“each betrayal begins with trust”
“every man returns to dust.”]
In the rains of September?
