Opioids Have yet to nod off of oxycodone

Hello,

My oxycodone tolerance isn't extreme. I do about 60-100mg snorted to get nicely high, but I have never nodded, in fact I've never even felt drowsy. Is it safe to keep upping the dose until I do nod? I'd assume since I'm not nodded and not even sedated then I should be okay to push the dose up, I'm just wondering if it's easy to overdo it, I wouldn't wanna OD. Thanks
 
oxycodone isnt a very sedating opiate. it has a speedy opiate high, morphine, heroin etc are more noddy than oxy is, but i like not falling asleep because you can actually enjoy it
 
well in my opinion actually being able to do 60 to 100 mg all at once is a pretty good tolerance so if u can do that much u will be fine and def not od if u keep uping your dose untill u do nod.

This. Benadryl + Opiates = Nodtastic. As mentioned, just start with a slightly lower dose of oxy and then do more from there.

Agreed.

I can nod pretty easily with OC, the setting just has to be right and it rarely happens until the second "half" of the experience... I find that taking the first dose and then "topping off" after it is kicked in will lead to nodding much more so than taking the same dose all at once. The only time I nod from a single, oral dose is if it is too large (to the point of it being uncomfortable until the nod comes)...

OC is a strange animal. As said above, it is mostly used for stimulating opiate effects, not sedative ones.

This is a very dangerous combo if you are a benzo naive person but you can always take some alpraz with your oxy, i'm for sure on the nod if i do that. i definitely do not recommend this if you dont normally take benzos though.
 
When I was addicted to oxy I did about hte same dose, like 90-120 mg oxy ir per dose around 12-15 30mg oxy ir's a day. It was fucking IMPOSSIBLE to get a nod.

When I started shooting dope...well, it's fucking cheap as fuck compared to an oxy habit like that, and way easier to catch a nod. I don't reccomend pickin up the needle, but if h is popular in your area, you might be able to nod off like 2 bags that run you the same as one oxy ir.
 
i used to nod a lot - when i first started using, sometimes i would get really excited. fentanyl is a lot more noddier (just saying).

Sorry for the off topic but, ive been taking benadryl with 2c-e to remove the nasua. Sometimes it does feel like im nodding off, probably due to the extreme euphoria from the 2c-e.

Anyone have similar experiences with benadryl + whatever?
 
I don't like the benzo nod... it's too much like deep sleep. Heroin nod is very pleasant by comparison. You don't have to shoot heroin, by the way. Many people in my area of the globe snort... it takes longer to feel the effects is the main difference. It's still just as addicitve.
 
I have been taking Oxycodone for over a year now. I am up to 300 mg per day. Usually taking between 5 and 7 at once then an additional 3-6 throughout the day. I'm old fashioned, I swallow mine. Always on an empty stomach though. I find it very difficult to nod out anymore. I barely even get high anymore. I pretty much just take them to avoid the agonized withdrawals.
 
Keep in mind, Oxycodones nasal bioavailability is less than it's oral bioavailability: on average it's nasal bioav. is 46%, orally it varies due to lots of factors however it ranges from about 60%-87%.

Rectal is about the same as oral, however bypassing first-pass metabolism could be handy depending on how your digestive system and metabolism works. Plugging oxy gives a HELL of a buzz, and with a dosage of 60-100mg I would nod off every time.

Snorting is very much a waste, and I'll think you'll find your tolerance isn't as big as you think it is; be careful if you change your ROA!
 
Hydrocodone? Dihydrocodeine? Codeine? Please don't tell me you meant tramadol...
 
i have never nodded off oxy. boyfriend ALWAYS does. might just be your constitution...
 
adder, Im pretty damn sure he is talking about HEROIN.

its about half the price of oxy (not weight-wise, but effects-wise) (in florida, which is probably the state in america where heroin is most expensive comparatively to prescriptions pills , due to high availability of prescription pills thanks to brevard county, as well as the relative non existance of heroin (again, speaking in comparison, as I KNOW I can get dope, but its WAY easier to get pills)

and much better at inducing a nod.

I HATE MIXING BENZOS with my opiates , as a difference as small as .005mg of alprazolam can make the difference between synergystic bliss or feeling like you took a bunch of xanax and losing the opiate feeling.

and I have mixed diphenhydramine with buprenorphine in desperate times to try to get a rush out of my shot, I would advise against using diphenhydramine, even in just low doses, as it just feels dirty and sloppy to me, ruining the high of a good full agonist. I couldnt imagine WANTING to feel that way.

Best bet is honestly to switch to a cheaper more sedative opiate.
