Have I isolated pure(ish) hydrocodone powder?

Hi bl, so lately I found a good doctor who gives me an adequate amount of 10mg lortab (m363 tabs).

As I no longer am constantly skimping by on tramadol etc, and now have a decent supply of my favorite hydrogenated codeine molecule, I occasionally embrace the mad scientist inside me and do lil experiments in the name of extendemg and improving my stash...


TLDR; I did a CWE on 5 10/500 tabs, using 30ml water.
Later I evaporated the water over very low heat in a big saucer and scraped the precipitate with a razor blade...
I was left with a bluish/greyish/whitish powder that is bitter and when insufllated (tiny trial amnts) felt similar on nose to a 15 mg oxycodone tblet, and tastes somewhat similar.

I've taken enough today that I wouldn't be able to tell any effects unless I snorted a sizeable line and I don't feel like wasting.

Does it sound like I have pure hydro powder here or just possibly binders/apap/ or the like?


When I dropped a tiny amount into a bottlecap of water it didn't readily dissolve which baffeled me.

It definitely is not pure, but it is much more so than when it was in tablet form.


Assume pure when dosing.

It is the hydrocodone plus whatever soluble fillers, binders and colours were in the pills. You may have insoluble shit in the too depending on your filtering skills.

My filtering skills are shit lol. Only difficult part of cwe for me.

Used a price of linen because coffee filters always leak out the sides for some got damn reason!

But I just woke up and snorted a small line.
I skipped my morn dose and woke up sweating pretty bad.

Had a rather small line and don't seem to feel as uncomfortable as I just did.

I'm a lol worried that the stuff has apap or other impurities in it.

Might just pack it up for a rainy day and eat my shit

No synthesis, just extraction.

Like I said It's a bluish gray and going up the nose it feels about like snorting some oxycodone ir. Meaning it has a slight burn for a few seconds then feels normal.

Idk if I should even snort it...maybe spike a hot cup of tea with it.

Either way I'm really wondering if what I have is indeed the active ingredient (hydrocodone) and not apap or something completely different.

If it was pure you'd have 50 mg. Does it appear to be 50 mg or only slightly more, like 100 mg, of powder? Thats like a pinch of powder.

I think what you have is a powder with a much higher % of hydrocodone in it than the original pill. Probably like 10-20%, which is pretty good and high enough to make snorting it work well, as you have noted. Consider snorting a IR oxycodone, thats only 30 mg and the pills probably weighs around 200 mg, so thats only around 15% actual oxy in the powder when the pill is crushed.
