Hello to all! I did a lot of reading and really like the BL people... !
I Have a sympathetic nerve condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome or CRPS. Also, refered to as RSD.
I have used Opana for pain for about 6 years now along with several other meds and MS Contin plus codine for 3 or 4 years before that.
The pain was so bad for a long, long time. Then realized I needed more meds to feel normal or to just function even when the pain was down. But now am getting a lot of other health problems including, worse pain at times.
Have high anxiety, IBS, depressipn, RLS, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, eye pressure, double vision, fatigue. The list could go on and on... You kwow what I mean.
I have little help, can't work, and am now terribly out of shape, and its so hard to concentrate.
I want to quit the Opana so badly.
Now I am getting extremely sensitive all over. I don't know if it's the CRPS affecting my central nervous system or its caused from using large amounts of Opana?
I have the same guestion with a lot of other medical/health type problems. Is it the meds or different problems?
I just don't know. Just want to be happy, functionable and not crazy in pain and feel like all is just getting worse all the time.
Feel like the Opana is my best friend in a way and also like its quickly killing me now at the same time. Sorry for the long story. My question is, does anyone have any similar problems and experiences? Can anyone share what happened if they succeeded in quiting all the med's.

Hey Bluefrogger, welcome to Bluelight! :) I think your best bet would be to ask your doctor about the problems you've been experiencing. You can also check out The Dark Side for support with quitting. I hope things work out for you. <3

They there Bluefrogger, like Spork said, you'll find yourself right at home in The Dark Side. I urge you to check it out. <3 You can look through threads to see if any are similar to your experiences or create your own to answer specific questions like you've listed before. There's also a huge community of support which I think all us recovering and attempting to recover addicts could use :).
