If I took both capsules, emptied them out, and crushed them to a fine powder and then put it back into a big capsule and took it would that disable the xr effect? I dont feel much off of xr adderall

I think yes, that does take away the XR effect. When I had Focalin XR I would crush all the beads and then refill the capsule for later. Then I'd snort it.
Nowadays I'd only orally do drugs though.. Works better ime.

If you decide to crush up the beads, be careful they are small and they will roll away if you don't contain them. Whenever you crush stuff up there is the risk of losing some of it. That being said Adderall XR kinda sucks in my opinion so crush away. It's always seemed like a waste to snort Adderall, so I would oblige you to take the advice above and parachute the powder.

Yes by crushing the beads you defeat the time release. Your best bet is to take the powder orally either parachuting or putting into a capsule. Snorting it has no real benefit aside from avoiding the stomach so you dont fall victim to the contents of your stomach tacking on an hour to be emptied. Adderall is not one of the compounds (formulations as it is not pure amphetamine) that you benefit enough from snorting it over taking it orally that I would suggest it, you will just subject your nose to the binders and fillers for no increase in BA.
