Have 10 30mg XR morphines. Equivalency and how to break time release?

Now i know i should def feel a buzz from them but usually to be feeling very very good from an opiate high, i would need 80mg hydrocodone OR like 30-60mg instant oxy. My question is with this orally, how many should i take at once since my usual dose is 80mg of hydrocodone if someone can help me out with that would be great also another question is if i chew them before swalling them will that break the time release?
 
The dosages are equivalent, so 80mg hydrocodone = 80mg morphine. Chewing them doesn't really break the time release. I suggest crushing it down into a powder and then taking a little bit of powder with a gulp of a drink, until you go through all the powder. If you were to do it all at once or chew it the pill would gel back together. If you separate it a bit then it won't be able to gel back up together again, and the smaller amounts that may gel together will dissolve and be absorbed faster since a lot of little things dissolve faster than 1 big one.

I knew hydrocodone and morphine both are equal mg for mg but the thing is that the bioavailibility is just so much lower on the morphine orally that it doesnt feel the same just due to that. I was wondering even with a decent opioid tolerance should i pop 5 and another 5 in an hour? Ive tried the 200mg xr morphines felt weak
 
Remember that morphines bioavailability from oral use is only around 30 percent. Something like oxycodone on the other hand, is best taken orally.

So let's use my normal doses. I take between 40-60 mg of oxycodone to get a good high if I've been taking them for a few days. When I take morphine, I usually have to take anywhere from 60-90 mg to get a decent high.

Start by multiplying your normal mg dose for a "codone" pill, whether it's hydro or oxy, by about 1.5 to start off with. Maybe even double. And some people have to take even 3x a hydro dose.

Always wait AT LEAST an hour before redosing with morphine ER/XR/SR. They take longer to kick in. Even when you break the time release (which is hard, but possible. you can't do it totally, but you can pass some of it). And don't just double your dose. That's dangerous with morphine. Take half of your first dose when re-dosing.
