Hash?

Can someone tell me from what part of the plant is this made from?
Ive been told its just the seeds soaked in alchohol and some other processes.. but im not sure on that ive always been told its just a certain part of the plant which holds more thc

Syd Barrett is the man...too bad he's messed up and looks like an old man now...but Piper at the Gates of Dawn is some amazing shit.
But back to hash. All parts of the plant can be used to obtain hash. Obviously the greater amount of THC is found in the buds...but I'd rather smoke the budz. The big fan leaves and such, that you cannot smoke, are perfect for making hash. Just save up a whole bunch and find your favorite recipe and you'll be good in no time...

i have read about a pretty good way to make it when you're starting with fresh plants. you take the buds and break them up a bit, then put them in a jar of water. the plant material floats while the resin sack in the buds sink to the bottom. just skim off the shit on top after it settles, and collect what's on the bottom. squeeze it dry in a cheese cloth or something, and you should have a nice big ball of hash. in the magazine i saw this in (high times), the hash was bright green, not brown like you usually see. don't know what that means, except that this is obviously not the most common way to make it. it looked fucking beautiful though, the ball must have been about an ounce!

so what yer telling me is that there are numerous ways to make hash right?
Can someone explain this to me fully? Im lost now
