Hash Honey Filter

I was reading the report in Erowid on how to make hash honey, and the author suggests using a coffee filter. However, in the comments section, someone else says coffee filters are too thick to use as a filter. Unfortunately, he doesn't relate to the reader what type of filter he used. To anyone who has made hash honey, any suggestions on a good filter?

Bump, a friend of mine mentioned his having done something like this, but didn't go into detail. I'm curious.

I've made hash oil!
We just got a coffee filter, ripped it in half and stuffed one half into the bottom of the tube and it worked just fine
